Hello Everyone !
As we all know motivation is the essential part of any organisation to get input from their employees.
So I was thinking that we can give award of EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH in our general meeting but the problem is that i have got various departments in my firm so that is very difficult that to be fair with everyone.
Therefore, I have decided to give this reward on general targets/goals/objectives/factors.
Such as:
Punctuality
Well dressed
The most well behaved employee
I want you guys to suggest more factors n ideas to make it more effective.
I look forward for your response.

We do choose the employee of the month. our parameters are:
a. Outstanding performance of targets and goals assigned.
b. Significant and positive influence on the company. the accomplishments must be tangible.
c. Outstanding attendance report.
d. Responsible attitude toward job duties.
e. Special rapport with other employees/ buyers/ vendors.

Before commenting on "Employee of the month" I have follwoing reservations:
1. One should think the size of the organization. If the organization is scatered in the whole country (like mine one) then it would be very much dificult to choose the Emplyee of the month.
2. If the organization is in one building then again it would be difficult to judge the employees because of the working enviroment, working conditions, work load. I. e. Finance people has alot of burden at the end of fiscal year and as well as the Sales people to achive the target.
3 Proper One Dress should be implemented which is not possible for all the cader/grade of employees as the Executives and Helpers can not dress alike.
there are some many reservations can be made.
But If the organization is a small office of 20~30 people working under one roof then it is possible to choose the exployee of the month.
Hope that would not hurt you too.
