Hi all,
I am Sachin Supekar HR Executive in Construction company. We have a plan to conduct financial internal audit. Does anyone have some example reports that they can send me as I have no idea where to begin. I have done a lot of research on this and know what to include in the Financial Audit but have no idea where to start the final reports that we would give to the our executive. Also, any check lists, forms and preparation list would also be helpful.
I hope someone out there can help me on this.
Thanks in advance
Regards
Sachin

Dear Sachin,
As advised by Mohit, you should approach internal auditors of your company. Generally financial audit is done by Chartered Accountants, Project Management experts etc.
Financial audit will revolve four basic factors of business i.e. consumption of material, money spent, man days used to complete the project and utilisation of machinery. Audit report will give you insight into what was budgeted usage and what was the actual. The audit report will be useful to plan your future projects, reduce quality problems, upgrading the skills and knowledge of the employee by training etc.
I conduct training programmes on Purchase and Inventory Management. If you wish, I will audit your purchase and stores department. Fourth largest infra company of India is my client. Their turnover for FY 2010-11 was Rs 5,600 Crores. I know very well how the construction companies work and what are the problems of purchase and stores professionals in construction or infrastructure industry.
Thanks,
Dinesh V Divekar
