What will be the detailed plan if the company wants to lay off 200 employees, Management asked to HR lay off 200 employees to ensure a smooth transition.

There will be two conditions -First at the time of Contract or Offer Letter mentioned about Notice Period.
First, one to one discussion with HR, Explain current scenario, Either pay for the notice period and other condition where nothing mention in term of employment and management also don't want to pay for the notice period and want to lay off employees without any legal issues.
