The Workmen's Compensation Act, 1923 is to provide for the payment by certain classes of employers to their workmen of compensation for injury by accident.
The various categories of employees who are covered under the Act are mentioned in Schedule II of the Act.
To view any labour/Employees' legislations, including the Workmen's Compensation Act, you can visit www.erlaws.com, which elaborately covered the bare Acts/Notifications relating to all labour legislations.
