Simple: By doing what the boss wants you to do If my answer was bad - pls relook at your question, and reframe the same, for a better reply.

Dear Ash Mathew,
As per your reply you mean to say that everyday you will wait for your Boss order what he want you to do....if he came arround 11:00am or in leave or onsite meeting then you will sit idle or what till he give you an order.....
very childish thought......

Hey Ash,
:-D:-D:-D:-D:-D........your sense of humor is high by following the clarification. I felt it is a bit hard. Any ways............
Dear:
A HR is called as Role model and ambassador of the company policies.
Be punctual: Our day at office should get start at least 2 to 3 minutes before login time .
Then You can list the task as much as you can.
Let me know if you want a tracker on this.

AN incomplete question will deserve a childish answer.
And how "so great of your thoughts" to think that the boss is a fool to give work only when he meets the employee?
Hello - a Boss is person with a larger vision.
He would have definitely hired her on a need - she needs to do those things.
Think with ur head yaar before commenting.
@ Shiv yes - I think I need to tell ppl - Guys this was supposed to be a display of my sense of humor. If you dont feel like laughing - u lack it. No more comments!

I am fully agree with btaniya and Shiva... here btaniya has raised a question and that need to be solved rather than commenting personally.. and i think Asha is suffering from superiority complex that her comments are always worthy.. if u dnt knw somethig then dont try to answer...& i fully support btaniya - u keep it up and remeber a chinese proverb that "a person who asks questions becomes fool for 5 min but a person who never asks becomes fool for entire life..." more in less words...:icon10:

It's very easy to get upset when someone gives a humorous reply.
I know sometimes relying on Microsoft Word to correct our grammar does not work.
I have come across many questions that are vague and the questioner does not give enough information to really help. This is a typical example.
What do you mean by a softaware compan": what's it size, etc. What do you mean by "important daily work for HR": at what level is this person working?
Also what do you mean by impress his/her boss easily? How can one answer this without knowing what sort of a boss you have? For example, if the boss requires the subordinate to be a "yes" person, then one needs to keep asking the boss what to do next. However, if the boss expects the person to take initiatives and does not punish for making mistakes (not serious ones), then one should not keep going to the boss for every minor decisions.
I have seen Ash Mathew's postings which are very incisive, clear and to the point.
I suggest that you re visit your question and see how you could have framed it better to make it much clearer.

Sorry Tanya... have to agree with Ash. I did not understand the question either.
What are you asking?
- How to impress your boss?
Or
- what is the Job Role?
Any ways the question is also very subjective. Subjective to what your position in the company is? what your job role is? when did you join the company?
I have seen Ash and Shiv both helping so many people here on this forum. Please show some respect and you will learn more from them.
