They can email the Daily Job Status Report to their Superior with copy to HR. You have not mentioned the nature of work of those employees. If it is sales their volume of work can be measured by number of clients met out of which how many number of sales closed..

Presumably you are giving company SIM cards to those people who work remotely or in Field.
You can ask your service provider (whether it is Vodafone Idea (VI) or Airtel), to provide facility of Employee Tracker, so that you are able to ascertain the employees' whereabouts. (Smart sales/field executives will give their attendance and details of clients visit to Office very puctually, but they would be sleeping at home). "Employee tracker" can curb these types of 'oversmart activities' of staff.

In order to give an appropriate flowchart of taking daily attendance and work report it is imperative to know the hierarchy of staff posted at Pune and those deployed outside Pune alongwith the designation of their immediate controlling officer, and station of posting of that Controlling Officer. You can write confidentially at the below email ID without disclosing the name of your company and names of the employees and controlling officers.
