My bro was working in a courier company he was delivering products.
One day his bike went out of order so he decided to hand over his packet(containing one plus 6) to his colleague so that it can be delivered timely to its recipient.
But his colleague cheated him & didn't deliver the product.
Later on an enquiry was setup on behalf of company in a which my bro & his friends were summoned by company.
My bro provided a written statement that he is not involved in such fraud. The matter reached to police station where my bro's colleague was beaten by police and he put allegations to my bro that he was also involved in this activity. Later on, My friend's colleague accepted that only he was responsible for such fraud.
Police declared my bro innocent and matter came to an end. And said that now it's up-to company what action it takes.
Today we have received a notice on which we need to reply within 2 days effective today why no action should be taken against you.
Please help us out in this case.

Pl give full details of the issue and clear the matter. Police enquiry can also be referred. Since nothing wrong was done by your brother do not worry. Give simple explanatory reply.

Thank you so much for the response.
I would like to inform you about one more thing that.
That this incident took place on 28 of September but the notice which we have received from the company has a date of 03- September.
That simply means they are
Putting wrong allegations.
Please advise if this information can be used against company as they want to entrap him on the basis of false allegations.
Please advise. Do I need to upload notice please let me know.

Dear Mohit,
The beginning of the entire episode lies with handing over of the consignment to the unauthorised person. Yes the person to whom your brother handed over the consignment also happened to be the delivery staff. But the important question arises is did your brother obtain proper authorisation to do the transfer the consignment? Why he took his decision on his own? Your brother's company has considered this as misconduct and has issued show cause notice to him.
Nevertheless, your brother can give a reply that he transferred the custody of the consignment was done out of good faith. Unfortunately, your brother's colleague betrayed him. This was purely unexpected. Your brother did not lose the consignment or caused damage to it out of negligence.
More than this your brother has nothing to explain.
Thanks,
