Dear Team, Please support me to find any declaration template from a contractor, including that he knows the labour he is providing to us & if any labour is found guilty in any manner, he will be responsible.

Hi,

As a Principal Employer you might had already entered into some contract of Agreement with the Contractor wherein there should be some indemnity clause will be there safeguarding the interest of the Principal Employer. But still as per Law the Principal Employer shall be held liable & responsible for all type of accident or death happened inside the establishment. Same applies in case of default in making statutory payment by the Contractor , Principal Employer will be held responsible.

With the contractor you need to have a contract for service, that means you only specify the nature and quantum of the job to be done and are not involved in micro-managing the contractor's labour. You can follow the draft declaration given below.
"This is to state and affirm that the contract labourers listed in the attached sheet have been selected and deployed by the ............ (contractor firm) by us after careful consideration of their abilities, talents, behaviour and performance and we take full responsibility for their work and conduct at the premises of ---------- (Principal employer) in puruance of work order no. _______ dated ../../....".
