Hi, As such there is no provision for period leave in India. However Employer at their own discretion may sanction 2-3 days leave per month for Female employees which will be additional leave entitlement apart from regular leave entitlement or to be adjusted from accrued leave.
Alternatively where ever there is a provision for Work From Home option, for those Work From Home option can be given to female employees so as to avoid travel to office which will be a additional physical strain for female employees.
