  • Dear Friends,
Thanks a lot for all the inputs.
Due to some confusion, the Labour Welfare Amount was not deducted or paid for the previous years (2007,2008,2009) in our company. Since I have taken up the Salary-Related work now, I want to clear off the dues for the previous years.
I am working in a Company in Chennai. It would be great if any of you can tell me what is penalty amount (% or Fixed) which we need to pay along with the welfare fund amount.
Also confirm if it is Ok if we deduct the amount from the employees who are on roles as on December 31st or need to include the amount in the F&F for those who leave in the middle of the year.
    Thanks and Regards
