Dear Sanjeev,
Thank you for posting such issue. I would like to add some points in your questions list & also focus on real such incident which I have faced last year.
First of all I would like to give answers of your questions then I will raise some points regarding this serious issue in corporate.
1. Yes. (I have seen one of my best friend cum mentor involved in such unethical activities)
2. No
3. There are 2 cases. First, if boss/employee build there sexual relation out of office (workplace) and job promotion, money/salary package not involved THEN its OK & Ethical (According to the Constitutional freedom right) BUT second, if sexual activities are taking place in office (workplace), job promotion/money package based on sexual satisfaction relation THEN its completely WRONG & Unethical. (in 2005-2006, supreme court has declared such activities are illegal & unethical taken place at WORKSPACE).
4. you will get my answer after reading following
I want to raise one strong point here...
"Very important, is there any strong laws in India to punish such wrong person? And also laws to support person who has raised his/her voice against such unethical activity at workplace?"
One person who is sitting on the company's CEO chair & taking off his cloths on that same chair (without thinking position responsibility) & to hide his such unethical activity, he did mischievous changes in office CCTV system & put office's security on risk. Doing cheating in company's account & spending money on his such bloody shit sexual activities with office's Sr. female employee. To promoting her, CEO is creating chaos & differences between other honest employees who are working dedicatedly for company...Completely FRAUD CEO and characterless person.
Giving you simple incident example (its real, I have evidence of this)
"That Sr. female employee told to CEO, in the office all called me by my Name, & I don't like this. Can you please do something that all will call me by 'Ma'am/Madam"?"
Within just 45 mins, CEO called me & my another founder colleague, and told us, I would like to pass one rule in our office. My colleague asked him Which?
He told us "To maintain respectful environment in our office, all junior level employees will called "Sir" and "Ma'am/Madam" to their Male senior & Female senior respectively.
Do you know what happened at the end?
Because of our poor Indian laws police did not took any action against such bastard person. (I apologize for my words.)
And 2 guys who has raised voice against such unethical activities at workspace, has to leave company. They did not have another choice. I DO NOT REGRET FOR MY DECISION BUT I AM DISAPPOINTED BY OUR LAWS. TO WORK WITH SUCH PERSON IS BETTER THAN TO BE UNEMPLOYED.
Summary: Our Indian law is still poor in such cases. Judiciary & police consider only Female's matter even she involved crime or unethical activity.
