Employee referrral can only be considered as the cheapest mode of recruiting if we are not paying anything to the emoployee or if compared to database , consultants, or ads or else I think walk in is the cheapest option as the company incurrs zero cost.

Thsi is the best and the cost effevtive way of recruiting, as our employees know the skills we are looking, also it works as a retention strategy as we can trace out who is refering and wht kind of response we are getting from the employees.
If we get good response, its a positive note for the company as we can see employees's belief and trust in the company.
