Hi,
This Problem is mostly being encountered by many organisations.Only if u are at the top level does your voice does count else it goes in vain. I seems that u are more attuned to corporate culture. But dear , it does happen that since many are from non corporate culture or Call centre there is always a tendency to follow the same in the later part of ur life also.
Just to say leaving the organisation wont help u as the same also happens to me.
Hence its better that u do what u think is ok . rest leave on others whether to follow or not .
Hope i am not making it too personal

Be positive when situation is not responding. Have a patience you have to be consistant with your efforts to induce people to follow corporate culture and wait till the right opportunity when accepting your suggestions becomes inevitable for those people. Please don't give up. This is challange for you to maintain the tempo. As you will find the same kind of people everywhere. Basically this is the main task and aim of our job to mold the people by making them to realize about their responsibilities and attitude.

Dear Friend,
Its seems that your company does not have a dress code policy and as a trainer you did the right thing by asking.
With regards to your HR Manager, he/She would know best what is the policy or not.Ask the Hr if they have a COC for Dress at work.
Managers: Clarify your role in the org. and then start working on what you have to do, new rules are always a haert attack on many and takes a long time to adjust. You should read all polices in the org and take the help of the senior managment to enforce and make sure rules and regulations are followed.Give the Managers time to Adjust to your kind of working and befriend them, ask them what they think about the way you work, Ask what will will help the situation better, take their ideas and then see the difference.
Remember : You can run , but you cant Hide....so as part of the traing fartinity should stand up for your self and not resign.
Get your self well inducted in the org .once again.

hey, Speak to the right people , people who own and implement the polices in your orgnization.....tell them the issuses and let them do their work while you do yours........or the end will be real bad for you.the co-operate world revoles round its own rules...........this industry is greed and people driven..........stop worring about this small issuse

Dear chamu,
I had read your initiatives to improve or change in the work culture of your company. If you chang systems immediately before taking management in confidence. If you will try to change the culture immeditealy definetly repurcation will come from the employees. You might have know the story of frog. If you put frog in boiled water they will jump immediately and they will not change but instead of boil water if you put them in cold water and boil it gradually then they will adjust them selves in atmosphere and will not come out. Hence first you prepare the atmosphere what you want to change and then come in to change definetely you will get results and all will liston to you.
