Hi Everyone,
Here we are started the day with an interesting poll.Thanq for ur sharings.
See the case below which is happening in one of friends organisation with this he was decided to resign :
It is a medium organisations..having simple Org.structure.
Ex:His manager(HR &Admin) is not ethical, and he is motivating to do the things which are wrong(corruption).
And he can't report these issues to higher levels Bcoz they are having a good opinion on the respective manager.
And one interesting thing is "manager has been supported by somebody from the higher levels".
One day my frnd said with me..with so and so reasons me also started to do the same(corruption).
And after 2 months he said with me Sorry yaar i can't do this job.
Bcoz of these things i am going to loose my self respect.
And the things which are happening around me are unstoppable.
Now share ur opinion about this case

Dear Sir,
Employee retention, in my opinion is closly linked with issues right from the time of recruitment of a employee.Instead of finding reasons for why people lookout for change,we as employers must look out for implementing policies and programmes towards retention of the employees. Neverthless most common reasons include- interpersonal relationship and attitude of people matters.
Thanks

"An employee doesn leave an organisation, he leaves his manager!" This proverb holds true here.
In my view, disagreement with the immediate superior is one among the major reasons to look for another job. Inappropriate salary, unsatisfactory job profile, negligible work acknowledgement, no growth path, monotonous job design could also be the other reasons for the same.

Dear Sir,
It is a very good question. The following are the reason for employees are quit:
Worker catagory:
1. Personal or family reason
2. Salary/Wage reason
3. Bad leader/boss
Staff/Officer catagory:
1. Internal politics in the company (leg pulling)
2. lack of professionlism in the company.
3. Increased opportunity due to LPG
4. Autocratic leadership
5. Pesimistic attitude of boss

Hi Barathi,
Your point of view is right
I'm writing from Africa, and what I can say is that we have the same problem any where in the world. Staff need to be encouraged in their everyday efforts and when working well, staff need to be promoted. It's very rare today, companies use people but just a temporary tools to fill their need and that is all.
So lack of motivation and promotion is the number one reason for employees quitting the job

One of the main reason is salary hike and brand name... apart from this favoratism, internal politics (unnecessary) are the other reasons..

Dear all ,
The above reasons are somehow contributes to the change in attrition rates in different organizations but the Main reason for employees quitting their job is inefficient management. If the management is not up to that mark which the employees are looking for then automatically the employees are going to leave the organization. Therefore the management should implement flexible policies so that it will suit larger number of employees by retaining their interest in their work.Timely surveys and Research works should be made to meet the changing employees needs. For example the management must focus on particular employees in order to know what he /she exactly looking for in the organization(Promotions, better salary, growth, etc) as well as outside the organization(future career advancements, higher studies, family security, etc).

Greetings,
According to my point of view Work load not a major reason for some people to change the job because they know well without doing the hard work they can't get the growth in their career. But the thing is that at present people are always trying to get the better opportunities. That is reason they quit the job.I hope this point will be suitable for your research.
Thanks&regards

Hi ,
The report is very true :
there are two main reasons :
1) Inequality in salary distribution
2) Disagreent/Dissatisfation with the current boss
3) Not getting the required monetary benefit even after sloging the heart out .
