Thanks Harsh ji,
the next question is the liabilities u/Employees' compensation Act is very High, max. about 100 times monthly salary.
It is pretty tedious to take out policies, most cos. charge 6 % premium, + chances of getting timely relief, for employee or employee, r remote, especially from pvt players, e.g. MAX LIFE / IFFCO -Tokio, etc. ( Note : This note only expresses my apprehension, not any direct experience, wd the cos. named !)
What wd u suggest as a reasonable way to keep employees ( beyond ESI) covered u/some medical & accident compensation scheme !
We are a SME wd about 30 - 50 employees, mostly covered u/PF / ESI.

Dear Sh. Dadusha,
I understand the problems relating to coverage of employees of medium and small scale establishments with the agencies of commercial insurance and getting timely benefits from said companies in case of any situation, if arises. But, the issue of continuance of ESI facilities to the insured person and their family members even after crossing the wage limit is a issue relating to policy matter.
Therefore, it is difficult to suggest any thing in the matter since the same pertain to the domain of policy-makers. You are well aware that the proposal to further enhance the wage ceiling under ESI Act, 1948 has not so far been finalised.
