The standard duty roster is applicable as per the guard board, for which they have considered only working for 26 days. The weekly off is not counted in their salary structure, which means they will avail a weekly holiday and must be replaced with a reliever. Thus, for every 7th day, a reliever guard will be on duty in place of the regular guard. Moving forward, it is therefore essential that for every six guards, there has to be a seventh guard as a reliever.

Likewise, since security is a 24/7 business, the format is simple: keep 60 guards on regular duty and 10 on reliever duty, maintaining each shift of 20 guards like A, B, C shift, while assigning reliever guards in each shift. Consider rotating the shift personnel across regular and reliever guards and across the shifts to ensure that all guards are familiar with the job in every shift to be performed and are acquainted with the round-the-clock activities.

Consider verifying guards every six months for safety reasons. Also, consider training and fire safety preparedness.
