Mr Sahil.
Appreciate your response.
Many companies try to evade payment of gratuity by various techniques,
but being a social legislation it will be viewed more broadminded and pro employee.
Legally also you are on strong ground.
Pl approach labour commissioner with your case and I am sure gratuity will be released by the company.

I was working as permanent employee for 12 years in hospital. I submitted voluntary retirement and was relieved with all benefits including Gratuity. After 2 years i.e from 2007 I was appointed in same hospital as full time contract employee on consolidated salary which was renewed once in 2 years. In 2017 I ended my contract.
Will I be eligible for Gratuity once again if yes on what amount can I claim Gratuity?
