I echo the views of the learned member Shri Natharao. There is no reason for deleting the thread. Statistics are not an end in themselves; still, they provide valid information about the contribution made by a member. The higher the number, the greater the contribution. There are many youngsters who benefit, and peers like me who look forward to an opportunity to learn.

As a Moderator here on CiteHR, I see no reason whatsoever to remove this thread. You have shared your happiness with other members, and there is no rancor or bitterness about this. Indeed, all members who have commented have all had good things to say about your contribution to the forum.
In your post, you mentioned about wounding some members and now feel some regret. However, you wrote what you thought at the time, and if it was pertinent and in context, then so be it. However, this is a good time for all of us, me included, to always think about what we are writing and its effect on other people. There is a good sporting analogy here - PLAY THE BALL, NOT THE MAN. Always address the issue at hand, not the person raising the issue. Always re-read and correct where necessary BEFORE you hit send.
