Thanks Mr. Korgaonkar,
Sorry for the query was put by me herein little bit half.
My query is, in this situation how many years of service would be considered for Gratuity. It means The person's appointment is in India based, He was getting salary in Indian Rs. and he was worked out of India. For Few years he worked in India. Under the circumstances whether he is entitled for Gratuity for entire tenure of Service i.e. including out of India or only served in India.

Dear Fraternity members,

Please refrain from posting messages just for the sake of replying to somebody's queries, unless you have a thorough understanding of the subject being discussed. Incomplete information or wrong details does not just tarnish your own image but also creates ambiguity / confusion among other bidding HR professionals who resort to this site to upgrade their knowledge pertaining to a specific topic or to know what has to be done in case they themselves are affected. And such message adds to their confusion. Such messages also irritates others who are veterans in the subject being discussed.

Secondly, kindly read through the messages that are already posted in response to the primary query before putting down your own views. It would be more sensible not to repeat the same things again and again, but would be more interesting if people scribble down certain examples or court verdicts or some real life experiences pertaining to the topic that may add value to the topic in discussion.

Most important of all, is the language. I also see a lot of messages with no head or tail. Messages should be precise, simple and easy to understand. Only then we can expect a correct answer or a response. You may not be required to use jargons, but simple word that can communicate the proper message to the readers to enable them to give their views.

Thanks & Regards,

A.B.
