Dear Mr Pkmbgr
Nowadays PF details are submitted on line and no return in any form is required to be submitted. If we submit details of any member as left over, then his account is not closed. Account will be inactive only after 36 months and thereafter no interest will be given in the account. However employee can transfer or withdraw his amount at any time. If employee joins the organisation again, after some time, employer can deposit in the same account PF contributions( if amount is not withdrawn by the employer). I myself have incidence of withdrawing my PF deposit after nearly 15 years.
Any further query will be my pleasure.
