Being an HR professional is not an easy task; it requires a lot of homework and updates. If you don't have experience in Training and Development, why do you prefer an HR job? I am not trying to discourage you; I am just sharing my thoughts with you. Nowadays, there seems to be a lack of value for MBAs; everyone wants to do an MBA and enter the HR field. Practical MBA exposure is the only thing that works in this scenario; theoretical MBA holds no value for HR positions. It's commendable to show interest in HR, but from an employer's perspective, the world is highly competitive. In my opinion, no one would prefer marketing professionals for HR roles.

It would be best to apply for a job that suits your profile and relevant experience. If you are considering switching from marketing to HR, it should have been done at an earlier stage, but now it may be too late. Don't blame employers for not providing opportunities. These are all my personal opinions, and if I have said anything wrong, I apologize.
