Hi Raveesh,
To answer your question "why you want to make a career in HR?"
For me, the following few points have influenced my decision to pursue HR as my profession:
- HR profession provides opportunities:
- to work closely with the top management of an organization
- to handle the toughest resources of an organization
- to contribute to creating a highly performing organization
- to interact with people across the world
- to identify and retain the best talent for an organization
- and more.
At a high level, a company's success relies on the CEO and HR Head.
If my understanding is correct, you have recently started your career in HR, focusing on recruitment as a full-time assignment. Remember, recruitment is an area of HR that has significant dependencies on others such as candidates, hiring managers, vendors, and skill availability. Roles with high dependencies are always more challenging.
I suggest that you familiarize yourself with the hiring process and then transition to an HR Generalist role, which can provide you with ample opportunities to experience real HR functions.
Remember, only a few fortunate individuals land in the profession they desire, while many "learn to love the profession" they end up in. It's akin to a wedding, my friend.
Wishing you good luck!

HR is the only department wherein we (HR persons) can understand the various types of people, their qualities, and approaches. For a simple matter like an increment, a worker can ask the HR staff/Manager politely, another can argue, and another can inquire through union staff. The way HR staff responds is definitely important.
By handling these situations, we, as HR professionals, can develop patience, listening skills, knowledge, and an understanding of what not to do in such circumstances. This process is akin to a form of self-improvement, almost like YOGA.
HR professionals should definitely not act like other department heads or staff in any way.

Hi,
For me, I study HR because I like it too much. I like the concept and the functions, but now I work in another field. When anyone asks why HR, my answer is because HR is the blood of the company and the soul for it.

Extending the words of Priyanka...
HR is not only a department; every manager/leader plays a role in HR within the industry by recruiting the right candidate at the right time, motivating team members, grooming subordinates, etc. Hence, everybody plays a role in HR.
A question arises when I am selecting something different from others; however, it is the same as everybody else is doing.

Hi, my bro! Thanks for giving the premises in the choice of HR role. According to me as well, we choose the HR role because we like to organize the job and share it with others. Then, we monitor and control it later.
Secondly, we want people to be aligned with our ideas and drive them towards our target or organization's objectives.
Thirdly, we like to hear and record all confidences of our people.
