Imagining Gandhiji a sole person & no one had asked for independence earlier to him, would the British give independence just because Gandhiji asked?...
A Quote stands good during the senario
The stone is not broken because of the last strike but because of the several strikes done earlier to it.
Having said that he is also a great leader, but he made his name all over the world because his was the last strike to get he Independence!!!
If Vivekananda, Subhas Chandra Bose, Baghat singh etc.. were compared, Gandiji is puny..
Even his logo followers (Congress Party) do not even his valuable lessons/foot steps. They just want to make money..

Dear Rakesh
We are discussing about the Management policies which we can learn from Gandhi and not any congress. Basically Gandhi was also a member of Congress and he is not the founder of Congress. The congress is started by Mr. A O Humes and not by Gandhi, as you said the congress party logo is Gandhi.
As a matter of fact, Mahatma Gandhi told after independence to dissolve the INC as the purpose of forming the INC is achieved, but it was not listened by the then Rulers.
As a HR Person we should not have any love or hatred towards any person. We have to see the issues and subjects and grasp the knowledge instead of persons and political parties and create hatred in the minds of public.

The whole stanza of not monopolizing Gandhiji was to say that he was not the only reason for freedom. Peoples are forgetting the important freedom fighters & also peoples who have changed the imagination about India who were just "Snake Charmers". Why don’t we have holidays for other freedom fighters just like Gandhi jayanthi??.

This topic was a chance to give a thought to say the above note & not to say that the PPT is not be implemented in life. PPT is good for character building & should be followed to the extent possible. I am also implementing the Gandhiji’s slogan from the PPT “Be the change you want to see the world”.

Good to know that Congress had such a bad history & appreciate your knowledge on that. All party posters have a senior party’s member’s photo & for Congress it is Ghandhiji. You are correct Logo is Hand (For Slapping). If you have more on this kind of topic please share it as a PPT.

Many still vote for Congress because of Gandhij. Even many loyal members of that party are in it because Gandhiji is a role model for them.

I don’t agree with the word Hatred as reality is many times bitter. If Gandhi did not have Hated British we would have been slaves for many more years. Making aware of something in any topic is always awarding as your point on congress!!

Frustration is true Akhilesh as betrayers are nourished & not punished!!!

Rakesh

Hii Jolly,
Competition is always there, whatever the time may be, the essence or flavor of competetion changes by time.
As far as cost cutting is concern,it also prevailed in the era; cost always does'nt mean MONEY. it also mean MAN, he always thought of to cut the cost,by forcing non-violence;which will lead to less human cost;cost of their lives.....................

Dear Dev,
Very true, that gandhi is not the only one. But it was the topic on which i was supposed to write for a special session.
and I do believe that only satyagrah cannot give freedom, its the sacrifice of many lifes like bhagat singh, azad, bose and others.
