Hi,
Greetings. I am a new entrant in this discussion, as i registered just today. With all my experience as a professor and HR Officer, I would like to say that there is no value for MBA thru distance learning immaterial of the university. Especialy in Gulf, if you are a graduate you can get nice jobs. What you ned is a good communication skill and presence of mind. I have seen people with MBA suffering to grow in their career. This is because of the uncertainty in the job market. So, having MBA is an additional feather to your cap. Only your performance can take you high.
If you want to improve your personality, do the MBA course directly from the college. Because class room training will help you a lot.

Hi all
I am not agree with those people having mind set that education from distance mode is not valuable, We are leaving in indian economy, some people have lot of money but some are beggar, demand of market/Industry/social/Public sector have same. Regular institutes are doing nothing but commercialization of eduction, those are not in capacity of regular MBA can go through distance education. As now i have so many friends from correspondence study doing well in their sector. You can take example from Mahabharata, section Eklavya.

go for IGNOU. BTW you need quality education, better job placement, brand name and good market value? it is very tough to get all these things at same time.

with due respect to all those averse to Online learning, having myself completed an Online program on Project management from Robert Kennedy College, University of Wales I can say that the benefits of an International and well acclaimed program even if online is 100 times more then a regular program at any college.

Also, One has to understand that the MBA is not a program that will help you only in getting a job today. It is a Tag that stays with you for ever. Its value one will find not only today, but when you are moving from the middle management level to the top management level. At that place, one will look at the pedigree, and that comes only with a well known name behind you.

India becoming an International Business Player will mean that the International credentials will play a more important role in your job prospects sooner then later.

What <link updated to site home> 'mosesdanial' says, I differ. Even in the Gulf, the competition is such that a simple Graduation will not get you a good job, what you will get is only a decent salary, which when converted into Indian Rupees will look good. But this will tend to stagnate and you will soon see your peers moving well ahead of you.

Hi,
I have one suggestion.
You can do ur Distance learning through WELINGKAR institute also.. but since its a B School they offer a PG course...n not Masters'
I guess they have campus at banglore also besides mumbai...
Fees for 2 yrs is appox. 50 thousand...they have facility of online lectures too.. ie Virtual Class Room Facility (VCF) and they also conduct Personal Contact Programs (PCP).
Besides they also have part time prgs ....but tats for 3 yrs...n u need 2 yrs of work exp for this...so freshers cannot do this course...
All the Best...
Regards,
Sonali
