i'm swapna nemelipuri. i'm persuing my mba iv semester with the specilizations hr and marketing. i'm interested to do project in hr and in that i want to do project on performance appraisal becuase in my perception it is a interesting topic. i got approval letter to do project in "planman media".
i refered so many project but all are did their performance appraisal projects in manufacturing and some other companies. till now no one did the project in media on any topic in my college not only in hr and in other departments also. so,no one is guiding me according to that industry.
i just have basic knowledge on performance appraisal. like what is meant by performance appraisal?, what are the methods in that?, when we have to appraise?. it is not enough to complete the project.
so,i need more guidelines like,
which type of data i have to collect for my project?
which type of questionnarie i have to prepare? what aspects i have to consider?
i'm kindly asking u sir.if u can please provide guidelines on my project

Thank you for the detailed response. Where are you based and where (location) will you be doing the study (Planman Media have a few centres, just like IIPM have.)? Have you studied Research Methodology? If so, they would have taught you how to conduct research: Set aim and objectives, state hypotheses, review literature, formulate your research framework, decide on methods (how to collect data and why that way, how to analyse data, etc), and so on.
As advised in my previous post. Kindly see Mary's response; she has given a link to my ppt presentation.

i don't understand why we people want full completed and piled project reports.
Friends understand there is no shortcut burn the oil of your eyes this site is meant for guidance and help from sr. people not to provide questionnaires and summer training projects and reports.Why HR people is doing this................ your requirements is different don't cheat at least yourself.Me to is preparing project on R&R and downloaded everthing related to R&R now i am reading it out and understanding what are the criteria other people had followed and now developing my own questionnaire as per my company where i am doing my summer training keeping in view their limitation and rules and policies.
