Do not leave insurance sector. Joining a consultancy for salary hike or gud position would be stupidity. Insurance sector can pay u far better then a consultancy. But if you are looking for easy going job that doesn't need much hard work then its completely your choice. Even the HRs do not want to join consultancy so why are u spoiling ur career & wasting ur 2 urs that u contributed in insurance sector, jst for money and designation? I am working as corporate HR executive, if a consultancy invites me to join as VP- Hr & gives me tremendous hike, i would never join. Working in consultancy & working in corporate makes lots of difference.
If u join consultancy after having 2 yrs experience that would be a blunder you would ever make.
Insurance is sector which can pay you to the highest.
