Leaving the current company is his personnel decision and there might be so many factors forced him to do that.Lets leave the resons for leaving company.
I suggest you the below points.
1.Ensure that the new company which you are joining is reliable and you have some good role to play there.
2.Discuss with the current company HR about your problems in continuiong there.
3.Be ready to loose salary for the notice period.
4.Suggest your HR..if you know some referalls.
5.Atleast stay there for 1 month...parallelly convince the new company about the delay in joining ..

If U have already sign an appointment letter regarding 3 months notice period U should not even think of joining new organisation without giving notice period as per your company's policy.

interesting.

You want to resign because the company insists on discipline or because they are giving leave as per government rules ? Are you expecting the company to be lenient and easy going ?

the leave rules are correct. No one is giving you leave from the day you join. Leave accumulates in your account and the end of one year. You can use them in the next year.

Further all companies I know have the rule that you can not take leave without approval of project leader or your supervisor. I hope you realise you are not at a worker level in factory environment. Your attitude at least on this seem that you need LP monitoring.

As for mobile, many companies have the rule of shutting down mobiles. Many mnc and bop working on sensitive data do not allow mobiles as it can lead to data theft. Other companies do it to avoid disturbance and time wastage. I don't see why it should be a problem. In emergency your family can call you on office number. Friends should be calling you only after office.

Advice is not correct. He is not asking ideas of how to cheat or to commit an act that will be held against him in future. Hopefully if the person who posted the query has a better offer or is uncomfortable with the work, he needs to speak to his superior /HR and explain the situation that is making him to look at resigning.

Hello miqdadali,

Pl go thru EVERY word of saswatabanerjee's posting in this thread--it echoes what I understood about your situation & PoA.

Frankly, I think you have your CAREER PRIORITIES all confused & mixed-up.

If you look for 'convenient' ways in career @ this stage, you are bound to face trouble when you NEED to perform--NOT as per your standards, but by the Company's where you happen to work any any point of time later in your career.

There's a saying in Hindi: 'zindagi mein kuch paana hai tho, kuch khona hai', which in English equivalent is:'there's nothing called free lunch in life'.

It upto YOU as to decide WHAT to aim for & then be prepared to forego what is needed to achieve that aim. If you aren't ready to forego that which is needed to achieve the aim you set for yourself, then change your aims--there's no other way out of life.

If you don't want to change your aims, BUT STILL don't want to forego what is needed to achieve the aims, IN ALL PROBABILITY you will end up adopting shortcuts & devious means [what you mentioned/suggested in this thread is just equivalent to LKG, no pun intended]. Don't blame others or situations for what comes about then.

Hello miqdadali,

It's for the very reason you mentioned--age being 20 yrs--that you are being asked to LEARN rather than stick to your 'college days attitude'.

If @ the age of 20 yrs, you WANT TO TAKE REST, then I guess at least 90% of the members of CiteHR will already have been retired--going by your benchmark.

Looks like, your life so far has been more of a happy-go-lucky case. That's all I can say.

When you decide to take up another job after sometime, how do you plan to explain this gap? And also, do you think living on your parents even after passing out from college is the right thing for you to do?

Also, w.r.t. your query: "......i need to know whether I can resign from this company early.....", pl note that NO ONE can force you to stay, in this company or in any other company. But what all the members were trying to highlight to you was ABOUT THE CONSEQUENCES of such an action. Pl remember that EVERY ACTION HAS A CONSEQUENCE. And you have to be ready to face them.

Also, pl clarify/confirm if you have informed your parents/elders of this decision of your's. What was/is their response?
