While preparing the salary structure, there are certain components which are mandatory to be given or to be consisted the part of the salary or wages
2. The Minimum Wages are being paid with accordance of appropriate government
3. There are certain component which create liabilities after the separation of the employee after certain works period
4. While preparing the salary structure, Pl may be considered the Income Tax Act, Also, There are certain components are excluded.
5. The Bonus, Gratuity, leave encashment are totally depend upon the head of salary
5. There is not certain fixation of the % in the salary stature or mentioned in Minimum Wages Act,
6. Pl refer the appropriate wages of concerned Government.
7. Also consider the Income Tax Act

This hema. Am also new to cor HR field. presently am working as HR in Hospital field. I have to prepare salary structure. Am also bit confused to prepar. I prepared structure like this.
Basic = 50% on gross
HRA = 30% on gross
conveyance = 800
spl allowance = gross-basic-hra-conveyance.
pf = 12% on basic(13.61% employer)
esi = 1.75% on gross.(4.75% employer).
IS it correct or shall i do any changes to avoid legal issues?
I dnt have knowledge about bonus and gratuty,VDA
how to include in pay structure and how much %?
regarding OT = (gross/30)*no.of ot days and am adding this to net salary and payng total salry because management askd me OT shoud nt show impact on basic and PF n ESI so i did lyk this is it correct or not?
Seniors Please help me out on urgent basis because i have to give salary structure to software department to prepare payrole in software.
