Hi Ajay,

What kind of question is this?

It's like asking a lawyer, if you can do a murder & would be able to get away with it.....

I don't understand a few things:

1. If second semister is not cleared, how come you are appearing to last semester? I thought ATKT was only for 2 terms duration.

2. If you have uncleared subjects from 2nd term, then how come they allow you to appear for campus interviews? Did they not check the records during interviews?

3. What kind of professional edits university marksheets? Do you know, that if he is caught with your marksheet edited copy, then you will be procecuted as well....

The better way is to upload "original" marksheets & request that you will clear the backlogs alongwith the last sem subjects. Any way, such selections are on basis that "If you do not clear all subjects in last sem, then your selection is cancelled." Tell them that you will respect this term, & would clear the backlog in due time before joining.

If you have already informed them that you have no backlogs, then you are already on the path of slippery slope.... Best of luck!

Best Regards,

Amod Bobade.

Anonymous,
I appreciate your strong stand. Good show.hope more people in important posts show this kind of integrity in their personal and official dealings.
The boy is young and in excitement of landing ajob in an MNC.This is the stuff dreams are made of in our country.
but problem-he has arrears of exams/papers.
It is normal to think of taking some short cut.that is the young age and lack of experience showing up.After so many learned people have advised him of consequences and it being legally and ethically incorrect,he has learnt his lesson.
So point in being so blunt.

Dear Ajay,
You do not seem to understand the seriousness of the matter. HR systems in an MNC are always run with clear policies and procedures and there are no leniencies with such GROSS MISCONDUCT. Please bear in mind, there are no shortcuts that will take you to SUCCESS!!!
You must be honest with them – inform the status of your 2nd year exam results – indicate the repeat exam dates – share the confidence level of passing (like you have in your above comments) – check if they are willing to wait.
You may easily pass of by sending FAKE document now – later when you produce original certificate with different pass dates you will be caught – even if you are not, you would be working each day under fear of being caught. Do you really want to start your bright career with a BIG LIE?
The option is yourz!!! Good Luck!!!

I wonder why people are making adverse comments even after Ajay has said the following
"Thank you all Sir/Madam for your generous Feedbacks.
If editing would cause me such trouble in future i won't be editing the documents maybe I am going to lose this job opportunity, I will have to try very hard to get a new one."
He was only contemplating falsifying his mark sheet by editing and seeking advice/comments about the repercussions. He had not committed the offence. His comments, quoted above, clearly indicate that he is not pursuing that course.

Loginmiraclelogistics,
Only problem with what you have suggested is that the company will straight away notice the short fall of one mark list. The company will either ask you or get a bad impression that the person has not bothered to check before sending papers/documents.
The best way here is to straight away admit the arrears of one paper and ask for some more time to join.
Company may agree to this approach.

Generally, Corporates who select candidates thru' Campus Interviews hardly look at even, for name sake, students who have arrears. Their first choice always restricted to those with full pass, in single attempts, securing distinction only and rely upon those who consistently maintained distinction thru' out from SSLC onwards. Students with arrears, though they might have passed other papers with high marks, and those consistency is not upto the mark stand no chance. Ofcourse there could be exceptions.

Hi Nashbramhall,
Eventhough Ajay has said that "in future i won't be editing the documents", the fact remains that he has already mentioned that "he has updated a marksheet through a 'professional'".
It is not something new/unknown information shared by seniors in the post, that the enquirer could not have learned/known by himself already.
Though it is very unformtunate, that people look at this forum also to seek possible ways of "getting away with such offences"..... & some people have actually suggested the "workarounds" for the matter.
There are no personal greviences on Ajay, But actually more & more people making adverse comments on this topic will only strengthen the fear in mind of offenders; to know that the HR community in this country is not weak / ignorant of basic ethics.
Best Regards,
Amod Bobade.

Amit Bobade,

Members of this forum should not suggest ways around falsities and forgeries.

As a matter of fact advice should be on legal ways of doing things and helping people to learn and not use the forum as a quick solution for not even knowing basic stuff.

Sometimes people working in HR ask such basic questions about EPF,ESIC which shows a poor state of knowledge, which will eventually give bad name to profession of HR.

Value of HR professional is ensure compliances with laws, correct advice and not simply processing payroll or handling recruitment as and when needed.

HR Professionals must always remember that -Human resources plays a vital role in developing a company's strategy and handling the employee-centered activities of an organization.

HR professional should aim to make management understand the value of human capital and its direct link to the bottom line of all organisations.

HR function is all about making cohesive teams, engaged and experiencing growth in both personal as well as in work life.

Jugaadu approach and editing approach should be totally discouraged in our posts.
