Dear Preet Greetings! Perception differ in answer. I too agree vth Seema. We will keep a senior and experienced person to check whether the answer is correct or not. Comments Please..... Rgds, John N

Hi John,
For which question you are talking about. In general what Seema told about keeping a senior person as a Judge to say whether it is right answer or wrong answer. If that is the case even I can take that role, but everyone may not be well versed with some topics.
For example, for the question by Mr.Thiru, I was not knowing correct or much about that topic, hence I need to keep quiet. Similarly when there is a question on different topics, for which the appointed judge could not answer or not knowing the answer, then what will be the situation, and who can declare the winner.
That is why we are telling the person who is posting the question is the best person to judge the answer and declare the winner. If the answer given by the person who posted by the question, then whoever knows well , can point out the mistake and can give the correct answer. There stops that topic for further discussion.
This my opinion.
If you differ from this, please put in your views.

Dear All,
Appointing senior? what is the process involved and how can we select the senior. And for answering all the questions seniors only not necessary and the person who knows the answer and explain and convince the members involved is enough. Other wise we may have to wait for all the answers to be rated by the senior. Will it really work and serve best for the purpose.
This is only my opinion. Any comments please.
Thanks

My View on this ----- A person who is posting the question may or may not be aware of the topic or answer ( To my knowledge if i ask a question is based on not clear on the concept or confused on the particular topic). If this is the case if x or y says a wrong answer or half correct answer and the person who post the question thinks its correct, then he or she will say the answer is correct. Then there is no use of clearing the doubt exactly. Even for the first query which you have posted had different answer. Its all perception of the person to choose the right answer.
So to overcome this issue, we must have a Senior Person as a judge.

hi all,
i missed the flavor of last week's quiz...had to work on something for submission to xlri.
this quiz will lose its charm slowly if we don't keep a single or more than single expert/s as its backup for validity of answers. I am sure that this would also add a credibility to the responses, and hence, an element of interest for the readers too.
thanks

Dear Lavanya
How can a senior person take charge?
When on a particular topic, I was highlighting the correct answer, I was told, the poster will decide. Then I withdrew from this. I saw John;s comments and Seema's comments. Noone can and should intrude on own.Cocept is good. You need to work on methodology of telling the right answer.
Questions like difference between HR and Personnel do not fall in the category of quiz.
In quiz, there has to be one definite right answer.
