I need a little more clarity, if salary is 500000, out of which 100000 is the 80C deduction, 1,60000 is exempted out of remaining 400000, so now the remaining i.e. 240000 is the actual taxable income, right??
hence now the person taxable income is 2,40000/- i.e. 10% of this is the actual tax for the person, please correct me if I am wrong.
