Respected HR members, I just wanted to know about PF contributions while an employee is on maternity leave. Will the employer make the contribution, or will a simple payment as per the act be payable?

Hi,
Currently Maternity leave is granted for 26 weeks which is 182 days. So Employee proceeding on Maternity leave is eligible for 6 months leave with pay which means 100% salary to be paid. Accordingly Employer contribution of PF to be paid in full as usual and employee contribution of PF to be deducted.
