Will the police catch a case registered against a person when the FIR has the wrong age mentioned (45 years instead of 25) during background verification?

I have got an offer from TCS and Accenture and I have a pending criminal case against me 11 years back with wrong age mentioned in the FIR (50 years instead of 18). Will that reflect during the background verification or not? what should i do to skip this?

To my knowledge, there could be no police verification prior to private employment. It is for the candidate concerned to make a honest disclosure of the information, as sought.

Difference in age recorded in the FIR doesn’t matter so long as other particulars are matching.

You have posted two threads on 5th Feb 2022. Your second post is clearer than the first post. So I shall dwell upon the second post wherein you have indicated that you have got offers form TCS and Accenture and that there is a criminal case pending against you since past 11 years. It is apparent that you are either on bail or the offence is non-cognizable. In any case, since the case is pending therefore it is always advisable to disclose all the facts in the relevant document of the company provided to you. It is the Management of the Company to consider the gravity of the FIR in your case and decide whether to offer you employment or not.
REMEMBER it is thumb rule in all companies whether private or government that if any information is found false at any later stage, the services of the employee can be terminated at any time without giving notice. SO IT ALWAYS PAYS TO BE HONEST IN LIFE.
Also pursue the concerned Police Officer/Station for early action/decision in the matter of FIR which you state is 11 years old. Such long pendency in criminal case is not permissible under law.
