Are you paying them enough, are you treating them well, do you give them opportunities for advancement, do you train and develop your staff? Do management support the staff and provide a happy, cohesive and safe workplace?
You get the gist. Solve the workplace problems and you solve the attrition problem. Simple.

Retaining an employee in an organization is similar to a Marriage Relationship where the Law or Force, or Coercion can not make the Husband and Wife together. It is more of internal - How strong the emotional bond prevails between each other, how they take care of each other, how they trust each other and so on. It is a situation similar to that.
We can not write to an external business organization/s not to hire your employees. Even if you write what is the guarantee that they will honor your letter. It can not be a closed system of business and only possibility is to have your internal process and systems people friendly and more conducive in all Employee Experience Factors so that they are not leaving your organization.
If we start writing to other business company- the letters will not be honored in practicality and they will keep hiring which we can not prevent and the exercise will be futile. Hence it is before your organization to have sound retention policies, hr process and policies which are very much employee oriented, bring innovative profit sharing or family connect and so on with lot of innovation so that you can prevent people going out from your organization to the competitor. Normally in practical scenario the competing organization will give 50% hike in CTC and attract the talents which you need to have a Retention Strategy for key talents to counter such offers but to be exercised very judiciously. If few talents are behind money alone, it is better to leave those talents and make them to understand more than CTC the present organization has lot of positives like Work Environment, Work Life Balance, Welfare, Insurance Cover and so on.
Legally we can not bind any external organization which will not bind any company. Kindly have a thought
