I've started my new job 4 weeks back and I am thinking of quit.
My thoughts:
I am feeling anxious because of deadlines and new challenges.
I am not feeling productive.
I often feel confused in normal tasks.
I feel I am not worthy of this job. I think I would not be able to perform better. I am comparing myself with my colleagues. Imposter syndrome hit me hard.
I feel not interested in lot of new execution work. I feel like I lost interest in work and career.
I feel satisfaction in Friday nights because of weekend and feel awful in Sunday night because of going back to work again.
I often feel tired because of change in my shift. In my last company, I was working in morning shift to afternoon, in my new company, I am working in evening to night shift.
Sometimes, I miss my old job and feel like going back to my old company. Should I go back to my old job?
I am experiencing this first time in my career. Should I quit? Let me know your thoughts.

It is quite natural to feel unhappy on a new job in the initial days and comparisons between the old and new job situations further the feelings of frustration. Such thoughts have to be rationalised and got over. Is the new job really bad, are you not able to adjust at all to the new situation. Have you given a real try to measure upto the tasks?. Others may also have similar tales to tell!. You had chosen the new job, by going back will you not become the butt of jokes and how could you deal with colleagues?. What is the guarantee that on joining back you will be treated well?.
By any chance, if you feel you are totally unable to adjust and cope with the job demands, you may look for job elsewhere, not exactly where you had left. My opinion is, give time it looks, like it is too early to call it quits.
