I am a government civil contractor (proprietorship) and I have no employees to date as I have not got any contracts till now, but as for filling tenders in some departments EPF registration certificate is asked compulsorily as a required document, so I registered under the voluntary scheme of epfo. So I want to ask that if I am not having any permanent employee and I seek to work with my family member, so can I put the name of any family member as an employee (as it's mandatory to have at least 1 employee for getting registered under VPF scheme)? If yes then what return should be filled and what will be the least amount if no contract is allotted to me.
