Are organisational engagement and employee engagement referring to the same concepts?
I have received a case where the employee seemed highly engaged going out of the way to get policies synchronised with the HR processes, so that employees from his project, do not face issues where the policy they read is different from the HR service they get.
Though he has highlighted a number of valid points and the HR process heads have acknowledged that they are correct, they or any of their superiors have not taken any steps for implementation.
Can this be taken as an example where the employee is highly engaged, but the management or organisation is not engaged?
Like we strive for creating employee engagement, do we need to look into organisational engagement?

Hi Nelson
I believe and hope you will agree too that Organisation can only be engaged when the Vision and basics of Organisation are clear and accepted by all.
Since from the case you have recently received it is very much clear that many of the resources were not in sink with the views of other because the understanding about what culture and vision is organisation looking forward to grow is not same.
Organisation engagement is only possible when from the Top till Bottom each one agree to work with the vision.

Organizational engagement is directly proportional to employee engagement. If organizational engagement decreases, it will have a great impact on the employee engagement too.
Employee engagement is how active and committed are employees to their work, company, and the vision and mission of the company. Organizational engagement is the role of the company in instilling the core values within the employees and putting in the required efforts to make sure the employees are living out the values.
