Dear Seniors/Experts,

Actually, there is a spelling error in my name registered at the EPF portal. In order to correct my name, I was asked to log in to my UAN portal. However, there are the following problems:

1) I forgot my login password.
2) I changed my mobile number and do not have my old number, which is registered in the EPF portal. Therefore, I am unable to receive the OTP to log in.
3) The name on my Aadhaar and PAN cards does not match because there is already a spelling error in my name in the EPF portal. Consequently, I am unable to log in through Aadhaar and PAN.

Given the circumstances outlined above, how can I solve this problem and log into my account? Please assist me. I look forward to your reply.

You may fill the joint declaration form with a countersignature from your employer and submit it manually along with the requisite change of details, including your mobile number, at your regional EPF office. Your details can be changed this way too.

If you do not know your password, you can use the "forgot password" facility in the portal. Provide your UAN number. The system will then prompt you, asking, "Should the OTP be sent to the registered mobile number?" You should select "NO." Next, the system will request the mobile number to which you would like to receive the OTP. You can input your new number to receive the OTP, set a new password, and log in.

Once logged in, you can navigate to the "change basic details" link and update your name as per Aadhaar. Disregard updating Aadhaar with PAN. You can modify the name in the EPF records to match your Aadhaar details.
