Respected All,
As per the new revised Act, few of our employees has come under the slab of 21000. We have already registered them as new IP but we have mention their APPOINTMENT DATE as per the actual appointment date in our organisation and not from 01.01.2017.
We would like to know if this process is correct and whether their will be any problem later on regarding the old Appointment Date.
Also we have mentioned old IP of few employees who once went out of coverage e.g. On 1.4.2014 , Emp A got salary of Rs 14000/- and his IP was at that time suppose 45 , on 1.5.2015 he got 16000/- so he was out of ESIC coverage area and his contribution was stopped from 1.10.2015 . As on 1.1.2017 his salary was 18000 so he again in ESIC fold as per new notification . In that case , we have to issue new IP or continue old IP i.e. 45 . Please note he made his ESIC CARD etc in the old no i.e. 45
We are little bit confused in this Others' view is solicited

Please note that there is no correlation of Date of appoint of employee with regard to the date of coverage under the revised or enhanced limit by ESIC w.e.f 01.01.2017 as this is automatic coverage date of such of those employees in an organisation whose salary gross is Rs.21,000/-p.m.

DOA will be 01/01/2017, however after adding you will find that original date of 1st appointment remain unchanged,
