Maternity Leave Dilemma: What Should Employers Do If an Employee Doesn't Return?

If any woman employee goes on maternity leave for 3 months and the company pays her salary for that period, but the employee does not return to work after receiving the salary for the 3 months, what action should be taken against that employee?
