Dear Omkar909, If the employee is already registered with EPF, PF membership has to be retained till the end of employee’s service. Abbas.P.S

No, once you started contributing EPF towards any particular employee, you can not stop contribution even after his wages crosses the 15,000 limit.

Yes. What Mr Radhakrishna said is correct. Once covered, an employee cannot be exempted from PF, even though, he is drawing more than 15,000/-. If you take any fresher on a salary of more than 15,000/- you can exclude him, since he was not covered under PF before joining with you.
I think you got it

under a special condition as per of pf act a member whose basic is above rs. 15, 000 and gross monthly salary is above rs. 100000 he cannot be a member of pf thus will be treated as "excluded employee"

please refer to faqs no. 49. WC. 13 in epfo website which states as follows
"In cases, where gross wage of an employee is more than Rs. 1,00,000/- p.m. and basic is more than Rs. 15,000/- p.m., he cannot be a member of the fund and thus be treated as an excluded employee."

Here the usage is "cannot be a member". Means such employee cannot register with PF. But our discussion is regarding those already registered with PF. However I am very thankful to you as this is a new information to me.

That means the existing pf members of who fall under this category can be excluded from membership by making them ceasing to be members in the monthly ecr and let them withdraw the fund amount through 19 and 10-c/d which ever is applicable.
