Today we are announcing the CiteHR Social News Section - this section is meant for aggregation of the best articles & news items by our members.
It's a simple idea - everyone reads the news online or bumps into great articles and videos - the social news section is a space for our members to share and discover great material on the web. We will be moderating the news section to make sure that it's all worthy news and articles.
The social element also includes voting on the items - so that the best material can surface. We will be running separate news sections for each of our forum categories and everything will be aggregated on our base domain at Cite.Co - making it a platform for business & professional news discovery.
You can view the section here CiteHR Social News & Discussions <link updated to site home> ( Search On Cite | Search On Google )
It's also linked in the header.

Dear Mr. Roy
First of all accept my sincere appreciations and heartfelt thanks for this innovative idea of starting this CiteHR Social News Section.
I have tried to upload a discussion on "Cause of Country Liquor" , and I successfully uploaded. But still I have a doubt whether it is worth to upload. If someone uploads meaningless threads, is it possible to moderate. Who will do the Moderation?
How many days this news will be available for viewing? If anyone wants to comment on the subject or thread is it possible for them to comment? Like that there are so many questions arise in my mind.
Eventhough there so many questions in my mind, it is an innovative idea for the social group, who are really interested to read the updated news and articles. I welcome the new idea of Social News section in Cite community. It will become a treasure for us.

Hi Bhaskar,
CiteHR gets about 30 Lakh visits a month - most of these people are from the SME sector who don't really have much exposure to this kind of material - as a matter of fact a few weeks back I met someone who had never heard of Linkedin. The Social News Section is meant to be a platform to expose everyone to these great companies, blogs, video content, articles and personalities. This is important to improve the overall exposure level of the eco system.
We will be moderating the news section and will make sure low quality articles are removed. The voting system will also help in identifying and storing the best pieces. The way it works is the items will keep getting removed as time goes by and only the best material will remain in the "Best" section. So whenever you come across anything interesting please share it - it doesn't need to be on CiteHR as a matter of fact it would be better if its outside CiteHR.
We will improve this system - this is just the first release and we will add other features as time goes by.
Regards,
Sid
