how can we pay the PT and EPF when employee not working full days in a month???
generally PT caluculated on BASIC+ DA. and one more doubt in PT
In my organization salary system is basic salary. suppose employee salary is 7000/- now he was absent in 10 days in a month.the net salary drawn by a employee is less than 5000/- now tell me which slab he will come and how much will pay PT.

PT: Now the PT slabs are changed , no tax for employees if they are getting less than 15000/- per month. for more information please go through the attachment. even if employee is not worked for full days of in month you deduct PT, PF & ESIC on earned gross salary and deduct the deductions.
Gross Salary = 25000/- per month, present days are 26.,
Earned Gross Salary = 21667/-
PT=200/-
PF = 780/- it is fixed those who are getting 6500/- basic salary.
