I am Prady having plans to start my own home based HR consultancy here in Mumbai. I just wanted to know how to start off with the same. Is there any insititution that can guide or support me in starting the HR consultancy and also help me in arranging HR training programs with firms and organisations. Also please advice if anybody requires a partner in the same business.

Happy to help,you need some basic infrastructures and knowledge.
1.Start off with a sole proprioter model ( u need a trade license from local municipality)
2.You would need a service tax number eventually.
3.You would need some clients,you can approach the BFSI sector,you can easily get some.
4.Do not take a job site in the begning, u can start with free job sites like shine,careesma etc.
5.Wait and watch how your business proceeds( which sector u r working for and adjust).
I am presently looking for freelancers, have a bulk of work in west, u can try it out and see wether you will be interested.
