I would like to introduce sodexho passes in sal structure for IT benefit to my staff.can u help me in this, like what is the monthly limit and for wht amt of salary?
Do i need to restructure the staff salary?wht's the cost to the company for it?

The allowance can be given with following terms
1. the amount can be cut of special allowance / other variable allowance of ther CTC
2. can be paid on monthly basis
3. the Allowance amount is subjected to a maximum of Rs 3000/- per month
4. this amount will noy be entitle for Income tax/ but would go for an fringe benefit tax
5. Cost to comapany would be very less than the CTC also company can avail fringe benefit taxes
6. the SOdexho need to be a open one and not a meal coupon as meals coupon is valid only for FOod items purchase

Amount Rs.3000/- which u mention ,is need to apply for a particular limit of salaried person.i.e If the persons sal is RS. 12000/- and in case sal is Rs.25000/- can we apply the same limit for passes.

This pass you can fix a against employee grade
also look into logical
if employee is getting 12000/- per month he will not opt for passes
also note that this cannot be made mandatory, its is an optional item in salary
you can fix 500 to 2500 as along with the grade or above executive levels

dude, I am availing Rs.2750/- as tax free food coupons in this financial year. Our company is one of biggest organisations in India and they provide food coupons as tax free based on the I.T.guidelines.
