hi,
i can say like you can conduct a game like passing the ball and the person having the ball in hand as the music stops will have to propose anyone from the participants.... whose ever will be the best one arrange a gift for the couple......and make sure that all get the chance- both gals and boyes... i thnk this will be a interesting one.... try it out....

hi Manassa
You can decorate the office with balloons say heart shaped red ones.
You can keep the dress code as 'red day' ....
For emp engament you can play games like fish pond where the employees are free to write about anybody in the organisation . Anythhing they want to ... appreciations .... messages .....to their bosses , collegues ..etc...
You can even keep titles like the male who gets maximum msgs will be called mr valentine and similarly for females as miss valentine ..
You can even post msgs on the noticce board ...
Hope this helps .....

Dear Manasa,
For valentines day you have have the "Black and Red" Theme. Guys can be in black and girls in Red. Have a prize for the best dressed.
Since its a valentines day employees would be happy to share things about their own valentines so put a contest either for the best picture or best love story wherein people share the love stories about their partners or photographs. Generally people like sharing these things along with thier colleagues on such occassion.
Since we dont keep friendships day in any organization you can make valentines day as friendships day. If you have good space in your organization then arrange a half an hour dance session where you can get someone who can teach salsa for half an hour. Trust me people will enjoy this since you never get a chance to go an dance.

hi manasa
everybody has given a wonderful suggestion. i just have to say that it would be more exciting if you do not reveal anything, i mean keep it a surprise that valentines day is just another day in office. and in the second half try keepin it a staff meeting which everybody would consider it to be boring and the meeting hall can be decorated with balloons, some beaurtiful messages of belonginess to each other as carol suggested. and any of games, titles can be distributed there itself. i think this would make the day very special to each of the employees. moreover you can also offer them the valentine bands, very simple ones or may be to the privileged employees or the new comers and do not forget them to offer a heart shaped pastry to eat.
happy valentines day in advance and all the best. :D :P
