Hi,

You should have only one PF account. How are you having three? Do you want to say that you have not transferred the PF from the last three companies? I mean, every company you joined, you open a new PF account? If it is like that, then withdraw the amount from the first two PF accounts, and transfer the balance from the latest one to the new organization.

You can submit Form 13 (PF transfer form) to your present employer for each PF transfer separately. This means you will have to submit three Form 13s. However, you will need to provide details of your previous employment and PF. Your present employer will then send it to the authority after certifying your employment and PF number.

Dear Joy,

If you want to continue your PF amount, you can submit Form 13A (Revised) and request your present employer to forward it to the concerned PF Regional Office. Furthermore, you have to mention your NSSN on the form as it is compulsory. In the absence of this, the PF amount will not be transferred to your new account. In this case, you have to file Form 13A (Revised) along with an NSSN Application.

You have not mentioned your total service, including the present one. If this information is available, I can advise you on whether withdrawal or transfer is correct from the previous organizations. This is related to the Pension Fund under the PF Act.

Thank you for the reply. I have three accounts -

1. Bhiwadi (Rajasthan) till May 06 - 15 yrs
This employer is a defaulter. He has deposited PF amount till May 06 only and not submitted the Return till date. The company is now closed. Please advise on how the account can be transferred.

2. Gurgaon (Haryana) - till Sept. 06 (4 months) - please advise whether I can withdraw or transfer the money. Which would be beneficial?

3. Khushkhera (Rajasthan) - from Oct. 06 - After one year, I have been transferred to a new unit. Hence, I have two PF accounts. Please advise on the course of action to be taken.

Thanks

Dear Joy,

As per the information provided by you, there are 2 PF accounts in Rajasthan and 1 in Haryana. The unit in Rajasthan is closed, making it easy for you to transfer to your current account. If the Bhiwadi company closed in May 2006, as per the PF Act, the employer has to file the Annual Return until the closure of the Financial Year.

I suggest you approach your present employer for the transfer of the PF amount and request them to forward the same to the concerned Regional Office in Rajasthan and Haryana.

The sad part is that the closed unit has not filed a return till date (it has closed very recently). They were always defaulting in payment. PF contribution has not been deposited for the last 8 months! Please advise in this context!

Don't worry, PF Authorities have their own internal procedure to recover the dues from the employees. Once your Transfer Form reaches the PF Office, they will inform the Employer for payment of dues to settle your case. First, send your transfer form and wait for the reply.
