Hi, I am an Army Officer planning to quit within the next two to three years. I have put in 18 years of service. While in service I had the opportunity to Raise and Command an independent unit. Other than my normal graduation, I have also completed my PGDBA with HRM as specialisation from SCDL (Pune). I am looking for an entry into top management posts in HR.
What I would like to know is
What is the weightage of the above qualification in the corporate world?
Do I need to acquire some other qualification? If so then what all and from which all institutes can they be done? This is because while in service i may not get the opportunity to do any regular management courses.
Finally what posts one can look forward to with the present qualification? :D
