I just wanted to know that whether the gratuity payment maximum limit of 20 Lakh increased to 25 Lakh under the gratuity act. If it is increased then what is the effective date for that, can anyone provide me the circular / notification related to that, and whether the exempted gratuity limit increased in the income tax act also.
