Dear member,

Did the company confirm the grounds on which his employment was terminated? For how many days/weeks/months did your friend work in the company?

Mostly, your friend must have been terminated because of dual employment.

Thanks,

Dear Cite HR Friend,
Please confirm whether the reason for termination is actual or fabricated, employer will always relieve employees from their organization unless there is no grave reason which can lead to termination. Further PF contribution will not affect employee next organization if terminated however the employee previous organization tenure is visible to current employer. Dear Friend,

Chances of overlapping PF are less as every company creates new PF Code/ UAN for new Joinees.

By the way no company pays salary and does PF Contribution for absconded employees as nowadays payroll dept. is automated across companies and duplication is practically impossible.

Request you to share, correct facts to enable us to give fruitful advice.

If we understand this correctly, your friend absconded and thereafter the company terminated him.
However, they updated the records in PF after 3 months.
Obviously they wouldn't do it with retrospective effect and face a penalty, so they used the current date.
The intervening period is a NCP
Obviously again, he joined the other company without completing notice period or formalities from previous company.

There is no way to rectify the overlap.
At best, he can go and explain it to the HR, specifically showing that no PF contribution happened during those 3 months.
